Office-to-fieldworker notifications allow a desk bound worker to send an SMS to a colleague on the road from an application. There are also marketing opportunities through event-driven notifications (such as maturities and new rates) and special promotions. Depending on your cell phone service provider, SMS integration can be done with e-mail-to-SMS, or using a GSM modem with a SIM card directly connected to your computer hardware.
