COLLABORATIVE BUSINESS SERVICES

Integrating business processes.

We have increased our business analyst capabilities by growing a team of consultants who have all completed degrees in the field of actuarial sciences. In addition, our strong team of industrial engineers works with our Research and Innovation team as well as our software engineering community to deliver business value.

Using MIP’s digital stack to modernise and deliver business efficiencies through the strategic use of MIP’s systems, our collaborative business services allow us to deliver new products in extremely short time frames. Our analysts use exiting functionality to drive many types of complex insurance products with limited programming customisations, and we have added a fully parameter-driven rules engine that has improved our ability to automate business function. This is achieved through the use of “rule objects” rather than programming code. The rule objects can then be maintained by business rather than technical people.
